So, we’ve summarised some of the key findings from the study for you. Cloud technology hosted LMS platforms globally have 84.7% share of the market. Due to cost-effectiveness, the cloud-based e-learning model is predicted to grow by a further 24.59% between 2021 and 2029.

Higher education is a key area for revenue for e-learning as more universities and colleges blend their in-classroom and online offerings. This is forecasted to grow by 25.9% between 2021 and 2029. Consulting, finance, banking, insurance, manufacturing, retail and other sectors have generated revenue by creating their own e-learning. Of these, IT and telecommunications hold the highest market share with 16.70% and this is predicted to grow by 26.42% between 2021 and 2029.
